First time guest, ordered the ribs, with yams, Mac & cheese, and strawberry lemonade. Everything was amazing, the customer service was superb, very attentive, personable, and they had live music playing from an amazing singer. Dria our server was exceptional.

The truth is I bought a Groupon coupon. We stopped for a late lunch one afternoon on the way home from somewhere. It was fairly empty, some people waiting for their take-away and one other diner. The waitress was great, paying lots of attention to us as she had her hands filled with other things. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits. It comes with buttered toast. When we said we did want that, she immediately offered cornbread. I had the barbeque chicken. My own piece of cornbread was a lovely surprise. The sides, beans, collards, traditionally cooked with pork are prepared with smoked turkey - I could enjoy them! And delicious. The other diner, a regular, told us that he enjoyed the rib tips. We look forward to the opportunity to return and try other dishes.

We were in the area so we decided to stop by and dine in. We were immediately greeted by the young ladies, seated, and served. Our server was pleasant and had a sense of humor. All of our food, including our drinks were AMAZING!! Everything was hot, fresh, and well seasoned. The chicken breast was nice and juicy (which can be drying, but not theirs). I was truly surprised because you never know what to expect when you eat out. I've already recommended others to try this restaurant to others! I've attached photos of our food which was the cheeseburger and fries with strawberry lemonade; chicken and waffles with the "flop;" half bbq chicken, macaroni and cheese, yellow rice (& gravy), corn bread with the flop; lastly, chicken breast with onions, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, corn bread, and the flop.

The server was very knowledgeable about the menu. Me and my family had the ribs, wings and shrimp it was good 10/10. However, the sides was terrible 2/10 the yellow rice and mash potatoes was very bland. My question to the chef is how do you mess up baked beans? What made it worse was that roaches decided to do there grand debut while we were eating, which made me lose my appetite :( 💔

Visited for Saturday dinner -I did not have a reservation but seated immediately for party of 7. Overall service was great, but LaVondria truly stood out. She brought positive energy to the table with , all with a genuine smile. The manager was accommodating when we needed to make substitutions. I would request LaVondria as my server every time—she made the experience top-tier.
